Our monthly Youth Group for 12 to 18-Year-Olds with Additional Needs is happening this Friday.

🧩 What to expect:
✨ A fun craft activity - Halloween themed
🎲 Games to enjoy with friends
🍭 A tuck shop – bring a little change if you'd like a treat!

👋 We kindly ask parents to stay for the first session to help everyone settle in.
📌 Spaces are limited, and booking is essential to attend.

We are looking forward to the Somerset Carers Yeovil Carers Information Session at the The Sanctuary Methodist Church Quedam Centre.
Do you help look after a family member, partner, or friend who cannot cope without your support?
Then you are an unpaid carer and don't have to be receiving carers allowance to access a variety of free trusted support and advice.
Come and talk to us and other organisations from 10:00am - 1:00pm on Wednesday 14 October to find out more.

💜 Today is World Alzheimer’s Day 💜

A day to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and increase understanding of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

At Westlands, we're proud to support people living with dementia through our Octagon Memory Choir, a welcoming and uplifting singing group for people with dementia or memory challenges, along with their carers and families.

Singing can boost wellbeing, reduce loneliness, ease anxiety, and help unlock memories. Sessions are led by trained music specialists in partnership with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Alzheimer’s Society, and no singing experience is needed.

Each session begins with free tea, coffee, biscuits, and a chance to chat.
