🍽️ 16th October – World Food Day! 🌍❤️

Today is World Food Day, a reminder of how important food is in bringing people together and supporting communities around the world.

Here in York, we’re lucky to have so many wonderful cafés, restaurants and places to stop for a bite to eat. ☕🥪

At Shopmobility York, we love helping people get out and about, enjoy a little shopping, meet friends for lunch or simply enjoy a change of scenery.

Everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the little things in life, and getting out for a cuppa or a meal can make such a difference! 💛

🐙 Happy World Octopus Day! 🐙
8th October

Today we’re celebrating one of the most fascinating creatures in the sea – the octopus! 🌊

With 8 arms, 3 hearts and some seriously impressive problem-solving skills, octopuses are definitely one of nature’s superstars! 💙

And while we might not have eight arms at Shopmobility York… we do our best to lend a helping hand (or two!) whenever we can. 😊

Did you know that on 5th October 1969, the very first episode of Monty Python’s Flying Circus was broadcast on the BBC? 🐍😂

And if that wasn't enough excitement for one day… 5th October 1962 was also the day the very first James Bond film, Dr. No, was released in the UK! 🎥🍿

So, 5th October has certainly given us some memorable moments! 😄
