259km across Iceland. 6 days. One very determined Lisa. 🇮🇸🔥❄️
Lisa recently took on the Fire + Ice Ultra, crossing some of Iceland’s wildest terrain through volcanic landscapes, black sand, river crossings, freezing nights and some very long days on her feet.
The biggest stage? 71.41km.
The coldest night? Around -4°C.
And by Day 5 she was dealing with cellulitis, patched-up feet and a body that had every reason to stop.
But she kept going.
Food had to be carried for the week, every gram mattered, and familiar fuel became very important — including a few Chia Charge Chews, some of which even ended up in hot water for a warm drink.
Six days later, she crossed the finish line tired, sore and very happy.
Relief. Satisfaction. Gratitude.
An incredible adventure, and one Lisa certainly won’t forget in a hurry.
