Wolf of War and a Tree of Life!

I had the joy and thrill of facing a challenge of insane proportions - 3/4 leg, contemporary wolf, bindrunes, ornaments and Yggdrasil, with a sprinkle of ravens!

Half of what the internet says about Norse symbols is wrong.

The Valknut is older than the Viking Age. The Vegvisir comes from Icelandic grimoires centuries after it. Both get sold as “ancient Viking” on every other page.

We wrote Viking Tattoos: The Complete Guide to Norse Art to set the record straight before it ends up on your skin.

An AI can make you a “Viking” tattoo in ten seconds. It can’t tell you where any of it comes from.

Every design in Viking Tattoos: The Complete Guide to Norse Art starts with real artefacts. Carved stones, metalwork, ship burials. Then Isar draws it by hand for skin.

One is a guess dressed up as history. The other is history.
