We were raised to believe bully’s are tough.
Yeah… not so much. 😑
Bullies may look powerful, but the act of bullying is a sign of emotional weakness.
A bully is not confident.
They are full of suppressed fear.
Fear of not being chosen.
Fear of not being enough.
Fear of being ordinary.
Fear of being seen as inadequate.
And this doesn’t just show up in childhood. Adults can attain these fears and be bully’s too.
They’ll exclude on purpose.
Rank people and their relationships.
Decide who is popular and who is not.
Target your weak spots.
Call you sensitive, dramatic, too much…
Because they need to control and humiliate someone to feel strong.
If you’re being bullied by someone, the strongest moves you can make include staying calm, setting clear boundaries, walking away, choosing better company, and refusing to perform in their projected drama.
Silence can be power too. 🔇
Bullies stop when they lose access.
No audience. No reaction. No power.
Your presence may expose their wounds.
But that’s not on you and that’s not weakness. That’s influence. ✨
You cannot control others.
But you can control you.
How you react.
Who you spend your time with.
How you treat people.
You are allowed to create distance.🚶🏼♀️
It’s not surrender.
It is you choosing dignity over drama.
That’s a boundary, not exclusion.
You don’t have to show up for someone who disrespects you. 👏
