Job Position: Clinical Associate

Job Type: Part-Time (30-40 hours/month)

Availability: Set schedule, 2 Weekends per month (Friday/Saturday/Sundays if required)

Salary: $17.00/hour

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Manager and Clinical Director, the incumbent in this position will be responsible for the following:

Primary

-Clinic technician – perform assessments on patients prior to them seeing the Physician

-Assist Physician treatments - scrub-in/out to assist Physician while he performs treatments

-Educate and and encourage patients to proceed with treatments and products recommended for them

-General Office Duties – Invoicing/receiving payments, filing/management of patient charts, scheduling appointments, answering and returning calls, perform retention calls as needed, stock up

-Must be able to work 12+ hour shifts as needed

Secondary

-Greeting clients and maintaining lounge area

-General upkeep of office and kitchen

Qualifications

-Experience in a sales position in the hospitality or a customer service based industry

-Excellent customer service, verbal and communication skills

-Proven applied multitasking abilities

-Able to work in a fast-paced team environment, follow direction, and to work independently

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when so many of us are very restricted in our movements, it is even more important for people of all ages and abilities to be as active as possible. Even a short break from sitting, by doing 3-5 minutes of physical movements, such as walking or stretching, will help ease muscle strain, relieve mental tension and improve blood circulation and muscle activity. Regular physical activity can also help to give the day a routine and be a way of staying in contact with family and friends.

When you are in your 50’s the aging process is affecting all parts of the face (increased bone resorption, loss of facial fat, loss of skin collagen and elastin) leading to a more sunken appearance and sagging skin. ⁣⠀⁣

Think you can skimp on SPF while working from home due to the coronavirus crisis? Nope. Definitely not.⁣
⁣
Standard glass windows block UVB but not UVA rays, which can pe*****te deeper into the skin than UVB rays. ⁣
⁣
UVA rays can contribute to skin cancer, which is the main reason we recommend slathering on SPF while inside, and especially if you're sitting by a window or in a room with lots of sunlight. 😉⁣

The focus should be on treating forthcoming signs of aging. At this age, we may experience loss of volume in the face due to bone resorption and loss of facial fat. Some may also experience thinner, more wrinkled and less elastic skin.⁣ ⁣⠀⁣

For loss of volume, different Restylane fillers can be used, depending on the area. For improving the skin's hydration, Restylane Skinboosters are often recommended.🙋‍♀⁣ ⁣ ⁣
