11/10✨This time last year we got married in Home Kong 🤍 If someone had told me back then he wouldn’t be here now, I would’ve never believed them. You never think that the most incomprehensible things could ever happen to you, and then it does, and you still have trouble believing it.
I am grateful for that solid love we had. I am grateful we got married and had our beautiful son there with us. There are so many things that I am grateful for, I wouldn’t be able to write them all. But oof 😮‍💨 having to believe that I am no longer ‘married’ and having to tick the ‘single’ box on a form the other day fu***ng sucked. These little random moments of realisations hit you when you least expect it. An anniversary yes, I expect it’s going to hurt but it’s the title waves that come out of nowhere like the being forced to tick the singles box or when creating a profile for a studio and realising your ‘emergency contact’ isn’t here anymore. I’m sure all of this will get easier with time and I am just so lucky I have my friends to step in on sh*tty moments like this 🙏💖

Today is our 10 year anniversary 🤍 The 8th of October, 10 years ago changed my life forever. A decade of solid love, travelling the world, building a beautiful life and family together. You made me a mum to the most beautiful boy and you made me a better person - What I would give for just 10 minutes more with you.
But life had other plans for us. Shocked, devastated, heartbroken but so fu***ng grateful I had you for as long as I did and experienced a love like yours 🤍
You’ll be forever missed and forever celebrated my love ✨

1 month since I held you 🤍
I’m still not sure I fully believe it - especially looking back on these photos taken only 3 months ago - but I guess denial is a blessing at this stage. It’s helped me pace out the grief and get me through this month. What’s helped more than the brains survival mechanism (denial) is the overwhelming love and support from everyone near and far 💕 People showing up in ways I didn’t know I needed, to even just a “sending love” or a happy memory message. Every thought, every action helps so much🙏💖 I don’t know how people do this alone but I’m glad I don’t have to and I’m so so grateful for my people, community and everyone who’s reached out and shown their love in some way.
We will now have to write a new story without you by our side and I will always grieve the life I imagined with you and Kai, but we promise to live a life that will make you happy and proud my love.
Sh*tember is over, so it can only get better right ? I have no idea as I’ve never experienced loss to this magnitude but all I know is that I have an army of people I can fall back onto and that makes all this of this bearable. So thanks everyone, even the darkest moments can coexist with so much love and light and we are still so lucky in so many ways 🙏💖✨

Thank you for loving me with your whole heart ✨❤️✨ There are not enough words to describe how hard he loved, how safe he made me feel and what an incredible man and father truly he was. To be loved like that and looked at like that was the greatest gift anyone could give.
I miss you every second and I’ll love you forever mon amour 💖

How I prepped my skin for my wedding in under two months 🤍 I visited joliebeaute_hk and had a consultation with Dr Yip about my goals, and she created a plan that was just right for me 🤗

Because the past year of mummy life had made my skin feel dull and tired, we mapped out a quick 7-week plan for the big day 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

🔆2 rounds of IPL laser to rejuvenate my complexion and even out my skin tone

💉Xeomin to smooth out my forehead lines (I also love that Dr. Yip never tries to upsell or give you more than you need)

💆‍♀️2 chemical peels between the laser sessions

💦A hydration facial - which was SO relaxing! 😌

All of these treatments had zero downtime, so I could just get on with my busy days in Hong Kong. By my wedding, my skin was GLOWING ✨ and so many people commented on how great it looked during wedding season 💁‍♀️ It really helped me feel my absolute best on my special day! ☺️
