๐ŸŒ RAISING THE STANDARDS OF LONGEVITY MEDICINE ๐Ÿงฌ

What should define a credible longevity clinic in an industry that is evolving so rapidly?

At the 2026 Asia-Pacific Health & Longevity International Summit (APLMS) in Hong Kong, Dr. Andes Lai, Co-Founder & Group Medical Director of Longevity Clinic Malaysia, joined international thought leaders for a Clinical Leadership Panel discussion on the future of longevity medicine.

As global demand for longevity services grows, establishing consistent clinical standards, measurable outcomes and evidence-based practices becomes increasingly important.

๐Ÿค Dr. Andes highlighted the importance of learning from established healthcare models and strengthening collaboration between clinics, researchers and clinical registries.

Because building a credible longevity industry requires more than innovation. It requires shared responsibility, scientific integrity and long-term commitment.

No single clinic can define the future of longevity medicine alone. Progress requires collaboration across the global healthcare community.

We extend our appreciation to the Asia-Pacific Longevity Medicine Society and fellow panelists for the meaningful exchange of knowledge and perspectives.

๐ŸŒ BUILDING TRUST IN LONGEVITY MEDICINE: EVIDENCE, STANDARDS & SCALE

As global interest in longevity medicine continues to grow, one question becomes increasingly important:

What truly defines a credible longevity clinic?

At the 2026 Asia-Pacific Health & Longevity International Summit (APLMS) in Hong Kong, Megan C, Founder & CEO, and Dr. Andes Lai, Co-Founder & Group Medical Director of Longevity Clinic Malaysia, shared their perspectives on the growing demand for longevity services and the importance of establishing strong clinical standards.

๐Ÿ’ญ Dr Andes: Longevity clinics are led by physicians, and those physicians need to be trained. Before that training, they need to work with an academic unit, so that everyone can follow the protocol safely, without jeopardizing the safety of clients.

Public demand for longevity care is growing quickly, and the clinics that earn trust will be the ones that hold themselves to a higher standard. In practice, that means:

โœ… Physician-led care
โœ… Guided by evidence and responsive to emerging research
โœ… Proper training and academic partnership
โœ… Client safety in clinical care

Innovation matters, but it has to be built on credible science, rigorous standards, and care that can be delivered safely at scale.

We spend decades waiting for disease to show up, then spend everything trying to buy back the time we never invested. โฐ

The average spend on non-communicable disease across OECD countries? $207 million per 100,000 people. And most of it is preventable if we start early.

The real question is not how hospitals ๐Ÿฅ treat disease. It is why we wait for it in the first place.

In life, we have three currencies ๐Ÿ’ฐ: knowledge, time and money. When we need money, we spend knowledge and time. When we need knowledge, we spend money and time. But when we need time โณ, we can only spend money and knowledge ๐Ÿ“– to buy it back. That is longevity. ๐Ÿ’ก

Choose your currency wisely, and start early today.
