October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness, show our support and remind everyone of the importance of being breast aware. 💗

Breast cancer can affect women and men of all ages, and knowing what is normal for you can help you spot changes early. If you notice anything unusual, don’t ignore it — speak to your GP or healthcare professional. Early detection can make a real difference. 💕

Sepsis can affect anyone, at any age, and can develop quickly from an infection. Knowing the signs could help save a life.

⚠️ Be aware of the warning signs:
• Confusion or difficulty staying awake
• Fast or difficult breathing
• Very high or low temperature, or feeling extremely cold
• Pale, mottled or bluish skin
• A fast heartbeat or weak pulse
• Feeling extremely unwell or suddenly getting worse

🚨 Trust your instincts. If you or someone you care for has an infection and is becoming significantly more unwell, seek urgent medical attention.

This World Sepsis Day, let’s raise awareness, recognise the signs and help prevent avoidable deaths.
