I am so excited to finally announce the latest treatment I will be offering in clinic. And it’s a very big one.

Morpheus8 has arrived in Ranelagh!

Developed by Inmode, Morpheus 8 is a novel, state of the art device which uses radiofrequency energy delivered via microneedles to gently heat subdermal tissues resulting in skin tightening as well as giving improvements in skin texture, laxity and quality.

Morpheus 8 is particularly good for saggy, loose skin on the face, neck or body. It can be used to treat:

Did you know I also offer Profilo Body in clinic?

Profilo Body contains the same much loved formula as in Profilo, just in a bigger syringe to cover a larger surface area of skin!

This injectable is designed for the treatment of skin that has lost its structure and firmness. Profhilo Body injections are perfect for areas like the abdomen, upper arms, and décolleté in particular.

Profhilo injectable uses the NAHYCO® Technology with high and low molecular weight Stable Cooperative Hybrid Complexes (HCC) that has been proven to delay the ageing process.

Profhilo Body consists of two initial injection treatments, which should be performed at a 30 days interval. The product does only requires 10-15 injection points in each treated area.

After 3-4 weeks the skin quality will be visibly improved with an increased moisture balance, minimised fine lines, and increased elasticity of the skin. The results last in general 6-12 months depending on the skin laxity level.

We can’t do anything much about the intrinsic factor affecting skin ageing namely our genetics and what we inherit - we all have our strengths and for some of us it’s our skin vs others!

However we can certainly influence the extrinsic factors such as the ones listed in this excellent graphic from

I always say control the controllables when it comes to your skin.

📍 Limit your sun exposure. If you are concerned with skin ageing, year round factor 50 SPF is a non negotiable.

📍 Vitamin C and antioxidants are essential to support your skin against premature ageing especially from environmental factors such as pollution. These are a sister product to your SPF and again are year round.

📍Stop smoking. And also va**ng. Just do. This one needs no explanation.

📍 Your diet should be as balanced, fresh, mixed and non processed as possible. Look after your gut health, supporting the good bacteria. Cut down on sugars in particular. These have a direct affect on accelerating the ageing process.

📍 Get good quality sleep where possible, and try reduce external stresses. These are critical.

Even a few of these simple changes over time can have a big compound effect. Start small and build from there!

🚩A quick note on ‘Trap Tox’ and other ridiculous trends.🚩

Everywhere I look on Instagram these days I seem to see these type of advertisements for ‘Barbie neck’ ‘Trap tox’ ‘Princess neck’.

FIRSTLY anyone who has attended my clinic knows my strong feelings on trends. I neither offer them, nor market them.

Trends are transient, they come and go. The absolute last thing you want to do is under go a medical procedure on a whim, for something that is merely popular for a period.

Every procedure we undertake carries risk. They all require careful evaluation regarding suitability, weighing risk vs benefit. Not everything we do is as reversible as you are led to believe. Absolutely not everyone is suitable for a particular procedure.

SECONDLY, the Trapezius is an important muscle. Not only is it responsible for posture, but it allows you to tilt and turn your head, shrug your shoulders, lift your arm, throw a ball — the list goes on.

If you have overdeveloped muscles, or chronic spasm in this muscle group, we can relax them where appropriate. This treatment reduces the muscle activity/spasm and bulk over time. This can be a positive for the correct patient.

By weakening it however, you run the risk of limiting a lot of really important functions, including causing difficulty in supporting your head, and moving it back and forth.

Also by weakening and debulking the muscle, you can make some pre-existing sagging and ageing look even worse. Not ideal!!

THIRDLY, and as importantly, B**** is a prescription medical. Prescription drugs should not be marketed, and should only be used where appropriate for a specific indicated cause.

Not only is it unethical to market a prescription treatment, it is illegal under the licensing.

Be very careful jumping on any trend. ⚠️

✔️Always think long and hard prior to having a consultation, do your research on the procedure;

✔️See an ethical medical clinician for a proper consultation and fully evaluate risks vs benefit.

✔️Don’t just jump into something because it is popular this week. Buy in haste repent at leisure.

The brief - more volume and more shape, but keep it natural!

The method - 1 ml RHA 2 using both cannula to add volume and some 32g needle work for fine definition. A full dental block was administered to ensure total patient comfort for this procedure.

There is some mild post procedural puffiness which is normal, and I expect will worsen over the following 24hrs before starting to settle.

I would anticipate probably another session in the next 6-9 months, then most likely annual or even biennial maintenance.

I am a big advocate of being progressive with aesthetic treatments, doing things gradually over time, allowing for proper settling and healing, rather than doing everything all at once. This is a more biocompatible conservative approach but means more natural looking, safer outcomes. A no brainer!

Remember this is a medical procedure and requires a full consultation to assess suitability prior to progressing. Results do vary patient to patient.

I know I said never again but….

What can I say. I love adding to both the letters after my name and my workload 🤣

I am almost a decade in this industry and continually striving to be the best I can be. Aesthetic medicine in this country is still, scarily, completely unregulated. Literally anyone can pick up a syringe and call themselves an injected. Mad, right?

Last September I completed my 2 year MSc in Aesthetic Medicine through Barts, London. This all encompassing programme really ignited my love of skin and skin focused treatments, on top of injectables.

Now I’ve just been accepted by the Royal College of Physicians on their Dermatology diploma year long programme. I really feel this will help me be continually at the very top of my game in terms of my patient management.

Excited to enter this programme in August! Always learning, always onwards 🙌🏼
