Behind every review is someone who chose to put their health first.

The most meaningful part of what we do isn’t the screening itself - it’s the confidence, clarity, and reassurance our clients leave with.

Your stories inspire us every day.

Thank you for trusting us with your heart health 💜🫀

A little more about the person behind CardiACT 🫀✨

After 19+ years working in Emergency Cardiology, I’ve seen firsthand how life can change in an instant - and it’s what inspired me to create CardiACT with a focus on prevention, education, and empowering people to take control of their heart health before crisis happens.

Here are a few little snippets about me beyond the job title 💜

Today we recognise the dedication, compassion, and impact of nurses working across all areas of healthcare 💜

Nursing involves far more than treatment alone - it is built on advocacy, education, prevention, and patient-centred care.

Happy International Nurses Day to all nurses making a difference every day.

A little reintroduction 💜🫀

CardiACT is a preventive cardiac screening clinic based in Skerries, focused on identifying cardiovascular risk factors early - before symptoms or cardiac events occur.

We provide comprehensive cardiovascular assessments designed to evaluate heart health and support early intervention where needed.

Heart disease often develops silently, which is why early detection and risk assessment are central to improving outcomes.

We also place a strong focus on women’s heart health, where symptoms and risk factors may present differently and are often under-recognised.

1 in 3 women don’t receive CPR before emergency services arrive. That statistic alone shows there is still a serious gap in awareness and confidence when it comes to performing lifesaving actions on women. CPR and defibrillation save lives, and education must normalise that opening clothing or removing a bra to place defibrillator pads correctly is part of saving a life. Modesty should never stand in the way of survival🙌😱 ❤️
