👀 Blackheads or sebaceous filaments? They’re not the same thing!

Ever looked closely at your nose and noticed tiny grey or dark dots that just won't seem to disappear? You're not alone!

Here's an interesting skincare fact: not every dot on your nose is a blackhead.

✨ Blackheads are a type of acne that forms when a pore becomes clogged with oil and dead skin cells. The dark colour develops when the material inside the pore is exposed to air.

✨ Sebaceous filaments are completely normal structures that help move sebum (your skin's natural oil) to the surface. They're often visible around the nose and can look similar to blackheads.
