My work doesn’t end when a surgery date is booked. In fact, that’s when it really begins.

From the very first questions and preparation for surgery to the moment I take my patient back to the airport after it’s all over.

I meet them when they arrive. I take them where they need to go. I explain what isn’t clear. I remind them of what’s important. And when a hundred thoughts and another hundred questions start racing through their mind before surgery, I’m there to reassure them.

After surgery, my phone doesn’t switch off when the clinic closes. If someone feels worried in the evening or during the night, I answer. Because I understand that questions and fears after surgery don’t follow working hours.

Sometimes my job is to coordinate.
Sometimes it’s to drive.
Sometimes it’s explaining the same thing for the tenth time.
And sometimes it’s simply being the person they can call and hear:

“Everything is okay. I’m here.”

For me, it’s not just about making sure the surgery is arranged.
It’s about making sure no one feels alone throughout this journey.

From airport to airport — and through everything that happens in between. ❤️

You think being a plastic surgery coordinator is just about booking surgeries…

Meanwhile, I’m answering messages, organising consultations, flights, hotels, transport, photos for the surgeon… and somehow keeping track of 137 little things at once.

Me: “Don’t worry, I’ve got everything under control.”
Also me: covered in sticky notes 5 minutes later.

A little chaos behind the scenes, so my patients don’t have to feel it. 🤍
