Our residents at Elm Hall Nursing Home recently enjoyed a fantastic visit from The Snappers, a talented local ukulele group from Celbridge! 🎸🧡

The room was filled with music, laughter and plenty of energy as residents sang along, danced and enjoyed some much-loved classics from years gone by.

A wonderful afternoon of entertainment, bringing everyone together through the joy of music!

Our residents at The Marlay have been enjoying some fantastic outings recently, filled with music, history and plenty of smiles! 🚌✨

A trip to The Square Shopping Centre offered a lovely afternoon of shopping, treats and entertainment, with residents enjoying a lively performance by RAMS! 🛍️

Residents also visited the beautiful Russborough House in Blessington, Co. Wicklow, where they enjoyed a fascinating guided tour, explored the house’s rich history and rounded off their visit with a relaxing stop at the café. 🧡

We are delighted to introduce our Wisdom for Tomorrow: Passing It On 2027 Charity Calendar! 🧡📅

This special calendar features meaningful quotes, memories and words of wisdom shared by residents across our CareChoice homes.

As part of our commitment to intergenerational work within the community, the calendar celebrates the experiences and wisdom of older generations, passing them on for future generations to enjoy.

All donations raised will go directly to charity, helping us make a positive difference in our communities.

Our 2027 calendars are available for just €10 each, exclusively within our CareChoice homes! Be sure to ask reception staff within your home about purchasing yours.

To mark World Mental Health Day, our wonderful staff enjoyed some well-deserved treats, taking time to relax and recognise the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing. 🌸

Meanwhile, our residents made the most of the lovely weather, enjoying some fresh air, relaxation and a little sunshine before the rain arrived! ☀️

Our wonderful team at Beaumont Residential Care recently enjoyed a well-deserved treat as part of Staff Appreciation Day! 🧡

Staff were treated to a delicious brunch, relaxing head and neck massages from therapist Jorlen, and beautiful manicures by nail technician Amy. 💅

It was a lovely opportunity to relax, unwind and recognise the incredible dedication and hard work of our team.

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful visit from the Comeragh Motor Club, who brought along a fantastic collection of vintage cars for everyone to admire.

It was a lovely occasion filled with refreshments, friendly chats and plenty of memories shared along the way.

Celebrating International Music Day in our Malahide Rd home! 🎶

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music and celebration with a special performance by our very own River Voices Choir!

What made the occasion even more special was that each song was chosen by our residents, bringing back cherished memories and encouraging everyone to sing along.

With family and friends joining in, the afternoon was filled with music, laughter and a lovely sense of togetherness.

Wishing our colleague Seán Tyrrell and all his Donaghmore/Ashbourne teammates the very best of luck in this Sunday’s Meath Senior Football Championship final!

They face Wolfe Tones on Sunday, 18 October at 2pm, with the final taking place on home ground in Ashbourne.

With three senior county titles in their history, Donaghmore/Ashbourne will be chasing their first since 1942 - A huge occasion for the players, their families and the whole community.

One week to go until the CareChoice GEM Awards 2026! ✨

On 22 October, we will gather at the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise, for our third annual GEM Awards - celebrating colleagues whose kindness, compassion and teamwork make a difference every day.

This year is especially meaningful as we mark 20 years of care at CareChoice. Our theme, “Moments That Matter”, celebrates the everyday moments that mean so much to the people we care for and support, their families and our colleagues.

With Simon Delaney returning as our host, we are looking forward to an evening of laughter, recognition and well-deserved applause for our nominees and winners.

Here’s to everyone who goes the extra mile. We can’t wait to celebrate together!
