✨🎓 Celebrating a Special Milestone! 🎓✨

A huge congratulations to Laura Fitzgerald, Susie Ahearne, Nadine O’Donnell, Aaron O’Connor, Eve Kirwan, Caitlin Murray, Jess Wilks, Shane Kenny and Blathnaid Walsh who graduated from our Pathways Programme today! 🌟

While Susie, Laura and Nadine completed the programme last year, today’s ceremony provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the entire group together, alongside their families and friends. 💙

Pathways is about so much more than completing a programme. Throughout their journey, these graduates embraced new opportunities, challenged themselves, and achieved remarkable personal growth. Their accomplishments included participating in in-house training, completing external courses, gaining valuable work experience, securing paid employment, engaging in social farming initiatives, developing greater independence, building confidence, and creating lifelong friendships and strong connections with both staff and peers. 🌱🤝

Each person’s Pathways journey has been unique, and it has been a privilege to support them, celebrate their successes, and witness their determination every step of the way. The confidence, skills and experiences they have gained will serve as a strong foundation as they continue to pursue their individual goals and aspirations.

Today was not only a graduation, but a celebration of hard work, perseverance, friendship and achievement. 🎉

We are incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished and cannot wait to see where your future journeys take you.

Congratulations to each and every one of you. The future is bright! 🌟🎓💙

🎉 Annual Day Services Fun Day at the Anne Le Roy Centre! 🎉

There was a fantastic atmosphere in the Anne Le Roy Centre on 30th August as we welcomed service users and staff from across our Community Day Services for our annual Fun Day, including Marquis Drive, The Hub, Gateway, Springboard and ALRC.

The day got off to a great start with a lively “Wake Up and Shake Up” session led by our Zumba instructor, April. We were then entertained by the wonderful Wobbly Circus, enjoyed a delicious BBQ provided by Fresh Food Courtyard, and had lots of fun with the large outdoor games supplied by By Ballinger.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our Talent Show, which showcased the amazing talents of our service users across singing, dancing, drama and plenty of laughter and entertainment. It was a wonderful celebration of creativity, confidence and community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

We would also like to wish all of our Service Users and their families a wonderful break as we begin our annual two-week shutdown. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another great year. 💙

⚽️ A Very Special Visitor to ALRC! ⚽️

There was huge excitement in the Anne Le Roy Centre on Thursday, 2nd July, when Irish international and Everton footballer Jake O’Brien paid us a visit.

Jake generously gave his time to meet everyone, signing photos, jerseys and autographs, posing for countless photos, and taking part in a Q&A session with our service users. His kindness, patience and genuine interest in meeting everyone made the day truly memorable.

We are incredibly grateful to Jake for taking the time to visit us and for making such a positive impact on all who met him. A fantastic footballer and an absolute gentleman.

💙 Thank you, Jake, from everyone at Carriglea!
