Last mention of the longest celebrated anniversary (just like the wedding whaaa) when I spoke at my Nanny’s Esther’s funeral I mentioned a story about lanterns. I asked nanny where she got her lanterns in her sitting room as I wanted some to bring to Italy with me as decorations, I got them 2 and 20 others like it 😂 I begged her to stop buying them, that was Nanny though, a wonderful woman. We brought around 20 over and with the venues permission alongside most of our decorations we left them there however to my lovely heartwarming surprise one is still taking pride of place in the relaxing area at the back of the bar , was so lovely to see it lasting all these years and lord knows how many people have sat beside it whilst sipping a drink the last decade , was just lovely . Underneath it lies a guestbook to sign and leave messages and on the page that some of our guests signed I got my two boys to writhe their name. These moments are beautiful for me , a special moment , making special memories in a special place with really special people❤️
