How do you reach a disc that won't move? 👇
The other day I told you what's arriving at Kilworth this weekend. Now let me tell you how it actually works — no jargon.
Remember the point I made? A disc heals through movement and space, squeezing in and out like a sponge to draw in fluid and nutrients and clear out toxins. Movement is how a disc eats. But when a spinal joint gets stuck, that movement stops — and the disc can't feed itself or recover.
So here's the simple version of what we're introducing. You lie back, fully clothed and relaxed, while a computer gently and precisely eases apart the two bones around the affected disc — just enough to create space. And rather than one steady pull, it works in a slow, gentle wave: that rhythm opens the disc and creates a pumping action, drawing fluid and nutrients back in. Exactly what a stuck disc has been starved of.
This is nothing like the old-fashioned traction you might be picturing — gentle, comfortable, and most people find it genuinely relaxing.
But here's the most important part: we're not "fixing" anything. We open the door, restore the space and movement, and let your body do what only it can — heal. It's not right for everyone, and it always starts with a proper assessment. More on who it suits tomorrow.
