The Pilates Studio Midleton East Cork's only mat & reformer Pilates studio. Classes in reformer, mat, barre, pre/postnatal & osteoporosis. Teacher trainer & level 3 assessor.

STOTT certified instructor with post rehab certification, breast cancer rehab, scoliosis & Neuro Pilates. We are a boutique style Pilates studio situated in the bustling town of Midleton. We teach STOTT Pilates for beginners, level 2, level 3 & level 4 (intermediate) on the mat, & prenatal (pregnancy) Pilates on the ball. We teach Reformer Pilates in small groups of up to 4 clients, on the STOTT Pilates SPX Reformers. We hold a once weekly ballet barre class in the studio which is a 50/50 mix of cardio & intermediate toning. As well as courses of Pilates we offer morning drop-in Pilates which are taught at a mixed level & private sessions, scheduled to suit the client. The studio is fully equipped with 10mm Pilates mats, head blocks, sitting blocks, barrels, flexi bands, balls & weights.

We now offer 2 options for prenatal clients:
•Mat pilates in our Midleton studio on Monday nights 6-6.45pm (new course starts 2nd Nov)
• Reformer pilates in our Rostellan / Cloyne studio on Wednesday nights 6.30-7.15pm (semi private, new course starts 4th Nov)
We are a registered provider of classes for VHI & Laya. Receipts are provided at the start of the course.

How do our ‘mixed level’ classes work?
We start with a simple movement that is suitable for all levels & progress or regress (make it harder or easier) according to who is in the room. Beginners are welcome to try improvers movements & improvers can try intermediate, or everyone can stay with beginners version! It’s client lead, so you choose the level you want to work at that day.
2 studios, 12 Mat classes, 27 reformer sessions, 1 barre class & 2 prenatal options per week 😅🙌

We are looking forward to offering Saturday morning reformer from our new studio in Rostellan, starting next Saturday (23rd Sept.) with the wonderful Caitríona Byrne-Porter
2 options, 8.30am & 9.30am, both mixed level, suitable for beginners & improvers. Progressions & regressions offered throughout the class.
Newbies to reformer will require an intro session for safety, these are taking place this Monday in Rostellan at 10.30am, Thursday in Rostellan at 7.45pm & Saturday 11.30am in Midleton. A drop in intro is €20 or free with a purchase of 5 or 10 classes. Classes can be used in either Midleton or Rostellan, or both. Link in bio! DM any questions.

Why choose us?
•Our instructors are all qualified via in-person courses. There are no online qualified instructors in our team.
•We have been teaching prenatal pilates for over 12 years.
•We are registered providers of classes for both Laya & VHI.
•We take no risks: We use professional, commercial quality equipment in our studio, including wedges for our reformer classes & omit supine work for our mat program (reducing the risk of supine hypotensive syndrome), wrist elevators for quadruple work, reducing carpel tunnel syndrome symptoms & Swiss / pregnancy balls for our Mat classes to reduce loading on the spine & hips, & to promote good posture.
•Our studio owner, Lindsay, qualified in pre & post natal exercise with NTC in 2012, & became certified with STOTT pilates for pre & post natal pilates in 2014.
