As much as we try to facilitate everyone - and of course there are always exceptional cases, we also have to be mindful of the care and attention that is required whilst we prepare your very important medications.

Please allow us a little time to do this - it is very much appreciated!

Many thanks from Peter, Dermot and all the team at McElwees

Happy World Pharmacy Technician Day!

Holding the show together in the dispensary, our pharmacy technicians are integral to the care and service provided to our patients. And we have some amazing technicians in McElwee Pharmacies! Thanks to each and every one of them for all they do for their patients and their teams 😊

Did you know that everyone in Ireland needs to take a Vitamin D supplement?

The HSE advises that all of us should take a Vitamin D supplement from Halloween to St Patricks day each year. And there are more specific recommendations for children, older people, and those who may not get outside during sunshine hours.

The McElwee Pharmacy team will help you pick the most suitable product for you.

Hse advice for specific groups is available at www.HSE.ie

Meet Jigsaw!

Jigsaw is a youth mental health charity providing free therapy and support to young people aged 12–25 across Ireland.

It was great to attend their discussion today at the M&S Café on Grafton Street, learning more about the important work they do to support young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Because every young person deserves to feel heard, supported, and understood.
