Meet Donal and Ryan, 3rd Occupational Therapy students at the Ulster of University, who attended our Student Occupational Therapy Workshop today.

How great it was to meet two students who have such a genuine passion for Occupational Therapy! What I particularly loved was that, despite already being well into their degree, they took the time to come along, listen, engage and learn more about how Occupational Therapists support people to develop their skills, achieve greater independence and live life to their fullest potential.

Their enthusiasm and willingness to continue learning were truly inspiring. It is so encouraging to see future Occupational Therapists who are passionate about their profession and the positive difference they can make in people’s lives.

Donal and Ryan, I have no doubt that you will both make fantastic Occupational Therapists. I wish you every success as you continue your journey and I look forward to seeing all that you achieve in the future.

The future of Occupational Therapy is looking bright! ✨💙

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Jenn’s Gym , an exceptional facility providing a safe, inclusive and accessible environment for individuals living with neurological conditions and disabilities.

As an Occupational Therapist, it was fantastic to see the range of specialist equipment and evidence-based approaches available to support individuals in improving strength, balance, mobility, coordination, functional ability and overall independence following a neurological condition or when living with a disability.

Facilities like Jenn’s Gym play such an important role in promoting recovery, building confidence and enhancing quality of life through accessible, meaningful physical activity.

A huge thank you to Jenn for having me and for the amazing work you do. The difference you're making to people’s lives is truly inspiring and your commitment to accessibility, inclusion and empowering individuals is invaluable.

It was wonderful to hear feedback from two Occupational Therapists following our Holistic Wheelchair Training at Enable Occupational Therapy Clinic.

When occupational therapists come together to share knowledge, exchange ideas and reflect on clinical practice, we create valuable opportunities to learn from one another, strengthen our clinical reasoning and develop the skills needed to support better patient outcomes.

What stands out most is the commitment these therapists demonstrate to their profession and, above all, to the people they support. Their willingness to continue learning, challenge their knowledge and develop their skills reflects the care, dedication and passion that underpin occupational therapy. 💙

Because when we learn together, we grow together and our patients benefit. ✨

A fantastic day of learning, collaboration and professional development at Enable Occupational Therapy Clinic! 🙌

Today, we welcomed a group of Occupational Therapists for our Holistic Wheelchair Training, led by Eileen Burns, Wheelchair clinician and Occupational Therapist.

A huge thank you to Eileen for delivering such an insightful and valuable session, and to everyone who attended and contributed to such a positive day!

Here’s to continued learning, collaboration and delivering the best possible outcomes for our patients. 🙌
