Hello everyone.

It has been a long time since I posted on here. I just let work take over my life and then Covid reared its ugly head!

I haven't been taking my own advice and leading a good work/life balance and had stopped doing the things that gave me joy. One of my joys was offering Indian Head massage and Aromatherapy in my little sanctuary on Heir Island. I love being an aromatherapist and helping people. For me, it is very therapeutic being able to share the joy of massage.

So I have decided that next year will be different and during the summer months, I will again be offering Aromatherapy and Indian head massage on Heir island. For those interested in learning how to use Indian head massage for use on family members I will be offering small work shops.

Keep an eye on this page and I will keep you all updated on my plans. Until then, mind yourselves, be kind to yourselves and above all, keep safe. 😊

The winter months are upon us and the season of colds and flu comes with them.

Did you know that Indian Head massage can help boost your immune system.? Along with being a great muscle relaxant, Indian Head massage has a multitude of benefits for you and your family.

I will be holding an Indian head massage workshop on Sunday 21st January from 12md to 5 pm. During this workshop, you can learn how to give a relaxing, immune boosting massage to your family. I will teach you about the method, basic anatomy and what oils to use.

Cost of the workshop, including a light lunch and notes, will be €75. Places limited to 8.

So lovely to have been featured in the Irish Times alongside other fantastic local island businesses such as the Heir Island Sailing School and Island Restaurant.
We really enjoyed chatting to Rosita about the business and our lovely cottage and are so grateful for the exposure this will surely bring our beautiful, wild corner of the world.
Just to note however, that as a small business that such press coverage is really important to us. We pride ourselves on being a beautifully restored, rustic and relaxing oasis and have to note that it appears some wires got crossed during the interview. Rosita writes that we have an outside bathroom, this is incorrect, our bathroom is a rather lovely, recently retiled and very much spider free affair, nothing like something from 'Sleeping Beauty' :)
