Some connections awaken our deepest desires… and our deepest wounds.
What if love is asking you not to repeat the old story, but to write a new one?
This week, the energy has been running high. And perhaps you’ve felt it in your relationship, too — emotions closer to the surface, old sensitivities resurfacing, a longing for more closeness, or conversations that touch something deeper than expected.
With the New Moon in Libra and Venus retrograde in Scorpio, we’re being invited to look beneath the surface of our closest relationships.
Libra brings our attention to balance, reciprocity and the way we meet one another. Are we giving and receiving equally? Are our needs being heard? Have we lost a little of ourselves in trying to keep the peace?
Meanwhile, Venus retrograde in Scorpio takes us deeper — into intimacy, trust, desire, vulnerability and the emotional patterns we may have been carrying for years. Sometimes, the present touches an old wound. Sometimes, the same story keeps unfolding with a different person or in a different form.
Not to punish us, but to show us what is ready to be understood, healed and approached differently.
And as we move through the rest of 2026, these planetary themes invite us to pay closer attention to the relationships that shape us most — especially the ones closest to our hearts. To recognise what needs to change, what deserves nurturing, and where a new way of relating is possible.
Because a relationship doesn’t have to be perfect to grow. But growth asks us to become curious about each other again, to listen beyond the words, and to have the courage to meet each other with greater honesty and compassion.
