The Alpha DaRT technology was developed in 2003 at Tel Aviv University. The findings were published in 12 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Since then, numerous preclinical trials have found the technology to be effective and safe for various indications and anatomic areas. Today, the company is running its first clinical trial with very promising preliminary results.

From Jerusalem to Seoul: opening the door to Korea for ®

U*i Sofer, CEO of Alpha Tau Medical, and Prof. Hee Cheol Kim, MD, PhD, Executive Vice President of Samsung Medical Center and General Director of Samsung Comprehensive Cancer Center, announced today that they have signed an MOU to explore a clinical trial of Alpha DaRT for patients in Korea.

Pancreatic cancer is now Korea's fourth leading cause of cancer death, with only about one in five patients undergoing surgery, leaving most pancreatic cancer patients with too few options.

A trial at SMC, one of the preeminent cancer centers worldwide, would be Alpha DaRT's first in Korea and would expand the reach of our global pancreatic cancer program. It will hopefully be a great opportunity for Alpha Tau, and a step towards new hope for Korean cancer patients.

This week, a major Israeli news outlet featured the story of our own, Alexandre "Shaike" Stauber, and it is a story that captures this spirit perfectly. Educated in a strict system without any formal scientific curriculum, Shaike encountered elementary mathematics for the first time at the age of 29. He went on to study physics at Hebrew University, and today is an integral part of the team bringing Alpha DaRT® into oncology wards around the world.

Shaike's journey is extraordinary by any measure. But at Alpha Tau, it is also deeply familiar, because this is the kind of person, and the kind of story, we are proud to be built from.

Alpha Tau Receives FDA Clearance to Complete Enrollment in REGAIN Recurrent Glioblastoma Trial and Add Two U.S. Clinical Sites; Early Interim Results Showed 100% Local Disease Control

Alpha Tau Announces Strong Overall Survival Results from Alpha DaRT Pancreatic Cancer Studies Presented at 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting

✅ Results reinforce the potential feasibility and safety of Alpha DaRT as a one-time, minimally invasive intratumoral treatment that fits naturally into the patient journey

✅ Pooled analysis of three prospective Phase I/II studies in locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) demonstrates encouraging median overall survival (mOS) across chemotherapy-naive, second-line, and heavily pretreated patient populations

✅ Patients treated with Alpha DaRT after 1st line chemotherapy reached median overall survival (mOS) of 11.2 and 11.1 months in metastatic and locally advanced disease, respectively, from the date of trial enrollment, compared to ~4 - 6 months for metastatic patients and ~ 9 months for locally advanced patients with second-line chemotherapy, based on published historical data

✅ Favorable safety profile observed across the Alpha DaRT trials, with treatment-associated adverse events reported in 36% of subjects and Grade ≥3 events in 9%, with no treatment-related deaths and no chronic toxicity; all Grade ≥3 events resolved

✅ Following these strong survival data, Company next turns to anticipated completion of recruitment in the multicenter U.S. IMPACT pancreatic cancer trial, which is exploring the ability of Alpha DaRT, in combination with initiation of front-line chemotherapy, to deliver a potent and focused local dose without exacerbating the harsh systemic side effects of standard chemotherapy
