So, so proud of you! Dr Sagar Bhutada

It’s not just steroids. It’s not just painkillers.
Rheumatology is SO much more than that. 🩷

It’s about finding the right diagnosis.
Understanding the disease.
Choosing the right DMARDs.
Managing pain and fatigue.
And most importantly — helping patients get their life back. ✨

Starting Monday morning with a happy Rheumatoid Arthritis + Fibromyalgia patient and a beautiful review. 🥹❤️

सही First Aid = बेहतर healing. ❤️

Delighted to share the successful multidisciplinary management of a *rare and complex Bear attack injury* at Super Speciality Hospital, Amravati.

A 28-year-old male was referred to our centre with devastating craniofacial trauma, including extensive scalp avulsion, compound depressed fronto-temporal skull fracture with dural tear and exposed brain matter, mastoid fracture, and multiple complex scalp and facial lacerations.

The surgical management included meticulous wound exploration, extensive irrigation and debridement, elevation of the depressed skull fracture, dural repair, preservation of viable avulsed scalp tissue.
Scalp reconstruction was performed using a posteriorly based advancement scalp flap to achieve tension-free, vascularized coverage of the exposed calvarium and dural repair site with preserving its blood supply from occipital/posterior scalp vessel.

The combination of severe soft tissue loss, open cranial injury, exposed intracranial contents, and gross contamination from a wild animal attack made this an exceptionally challenging case, requiring close coordination between Neurosurgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Successfully managed by:
*• Neurosurgery: Dr. Abhijeet Bele sir*

*• Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery: Dr. Sagar Bhutada*

*• Anaesthesia- Dr.Dipali madam & Dr. Madhavi madam*

We are proud to have managed this highly complex craniofacial trauma at Super Speciality Hospital, Amravati, showcasing the importance of timely intervention, meticulous surgical planning, and multidisciplinary teamwork in achieving the best possible outcomes.

Happy patient from Wagholi of Gout (Uric acid related Arthritis)

"Doctor, I don't want knee replacement surgery..." 😟

I hear this almost every day in my clinic.

If your knee hurts while climbing stairs, getting up after sitting for a long time, or walking, it could be Osteoarthritis (OA).

The good news? Managing OA isn't just about painkillers.

✅ Muscle strengthening exercises
✅ Weight management
✅ Lifestyle modifications
✅ Appropriate medications

These play a vital role in reducing pain, improving function, and helping you stay active.

Don't ignore persistent knee pain. Get evaluated early and choose the right treatment plan.
