What healing in therapy can look like. 🩵

Saying no. Choosing yourself. Setting boundaries. Letting go of guilt. Unlearning old patterns. And realising that you don’t have to abandon yourself to be loved by others.

Healing isn’t always a big breakthrough. Sometimes, it’s a series of small, everyday choices that bring you closer to yourself. 🌱

People have been rubbing smooth stones to calm down since before therapy existed.

Ancient Greece. Native American traditions. Tibetan monks. Same instinct: give your hands something to do when your mind won’t stop.

The Worry Stone isn’t new. We’re just catching up.

Not everything needs to be fixed, changed, or figured out.

Sometimes, the most helpful thing we can do is pause and ask:

“Is this in my control?”

If it is → focus your energy there.
If it isn’t → practice letting go, one small step at a time.

You can care deeply about something without carrying the responsibility for everything. 🤍

Save this for a reminder the next time your mind feels overwhelmed.

Your clients know the techniques. Do they know how to use them alone? 🧠

The Calm Deck bridges that gap. 15 psychologist-designed cards for anxiety, grounding, and mindfulness, built for real life outside the therapy room.

For therapists who want their clients to actually practice what they learn.

Anxious energy has to go somewhere. Give it your worry stone instead of your pen. A small swap that keeps your hands busy and your mind a little calmer ✨

Let a drop of paint sink and it settles. Stir it and it spreads through the whole glass.

Same with your emotions. Sit with the sadness, the anger, the anxiety, and it moves through you and settles on its own. Push it down, distract yourself, pretend it’s not there, and it doesn’t disappear. It spreads. Into your mood, your patience, your body, until it’s coloring everything.

Feeling it is what lets it pass.
