🚨 SYMPTOMS YOU’D NEVER THINK ARE NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCIES!

Do you have hair thinning, constant fatigue, muscle cramps, tingling in your hands and feet, or cracks at the corners of your mouth? 👀

Sometimes, these symptoms can be linked to nutritional deficiencies your body may be trying to tell you about!

🔎 Possible connections to know:
✅ Hair thinning: Iron or zinc deficiency
✅ Numbness and tingling: Vitamin B12 or other B-vitamin deficiencies
✅ Persistent fatigue and poor focus: Iron, B12 or folate deficiency
✅ Cracks at the corners of your mouth: Riboflavin (B2), iron or B12 deficiency
✅ Bleeding gums: Vitamin C deficiency
✅ Spoon-shaped nails: Sometimes linked to iron deficiency
✅ Restless legs: May be associated with low iron stores
✅ Muscle cramps: Can have several causes, including electrolyte imbalances

⚠️ Important: These symptoms do NOT automatically mean you have a vitamin or mineral deficiency. Many medical conditions can cause similar symptoms. The right approach is to identify the cause, get appropriate medical evaluation and test when indicated, rather than taking supplements blindly.

💊 Your body gives clues. Learn to understand them!

⚠️ Taking BP medicines? Know this important medication fact!

Did you know that certain diuretics, also called water tablets, can increase uric acid levels and raise the risk of gout?

💊 Medicines such as hydrochlorothiazide and furosemide can reduce uric acid excretion by the kidneys.

🦶 When uric acid builds up, crystals may form in the joints, causing sudden pain, redness, swelling and inflammation. This condition is called gout.

✅ What should you do?
• Know which medicines you take.
• If you have gout or high uric acid, discuss your medicines with your doctor or pharmacist.
• Never stop or change your prescribed BP medicine on your own.

Not everyone taking these medicines develops gout, and they may be essential for controlling blood pressure or heart conditions.

Taking iron, vitamin D, B12, magnesium or zinc and wondering when you’ll actually see results?

The answer isn’t the same for everyone! ⏳

In this video, we break down how long it can typically take to improve common nutrient deficiencies, including:

🩸 Iron
☀️ Vitamin D
🧠 Vitamin B12
⚡ Magnesium
🦴 Calcium
🛡️ Zinc
🐟 Omega-3

But remember: correcting a deficiency is not just about taking a supplement for a certain number of weeks.

Your starting level, dose, absorption, diet, underlying cause and medical condition can all affect how quickly you improve.

Don’t blindly supplement. Test when appropriate, find the cause, use the right dose and give your body time to respond.

Stop wasting your money taking supplements at the wrong time! ⏰💊
Timing matters just as much as the dose. When you take your vitamins determines how well your body absorbs them—and whether they help you sleep or keep you awake.
Here is your ultimate guide to optimal supplement timing:
🌅 Morning:
• Electrolytes: Hydrate and kickstart your day
• Vitamin B12: Natural energy booster (never before bed!)
🍽️ With Meals:
• Digestive Enzymes: Take right before eating to aid digestion
• Vitamin A & Vitamin E: Fat-soluble vitamins; absorb best with a healthy fat-containing meal
• Cod Liver Oil: Best paired with lunch
⏰ Anytime:
• Vitamin C: Water-soluble, flexible, but gentle on the stomach when taken with water
🌙 Before Bed:
• Magnesium: Relaxes your nervous system and supports deep sleep
• Calcium: Supports bone health and works well taken in the evening
• Probiotics: Best on an empty stomach right before sleep
• Vitamin B1 & D3: Calms the body and supports overnight repair
📌 Save this post so you don’t forget your daily routine, and share it with someone who needs to fix their supplement schedule!

Are you measuring your blood pressure correctly? 🩺

A BP reading can be affected by simple things you may not even think about, like talking during the measurement, crossing your legs, checking immediately after activity, using the wrong cuff size, drinking caffeine, or having a full bladder.

In this video, I cover 12 common blood pressure measurement mistakes and how to avoid them.

Save this video and check your technique the next time you measure your BP. ❤️

Remember: One reading does not tell the whole story. If your readings are repeatedly high or unusual, discuss them with your healthcare professional.

Still sleeping with your phone right next to your pillow? Charging it nearby exposes your brain to electromagnetic fields that can lower melatonin levels and rob you of deep, restorative rest. Keep it on airplane mode or place it across the room tonight. Your body will thank you tomorrow morning.

Could your zinc level be affecting your hair? 💇‍♀️✨

Zinc is an essential mineral involved in normal hair follicle function, cell growth and tissue repair. Low zinc status can be associated with hair loss in some people.

But remember: hair loss has many possible causes, including iron deficiency, low vitamin D or B12, thyroid problems, hormonal changes, stress and certain medications.

If you’re experiencing persistent hair fall, don’t just start supplements. Check the cause first and supplement only when needed.

Save this post and share it with someone dealing with hair fall. ❤️
