🧠 Advanced Neurosurgery & Complex Skull-Base Reconstruction in India

When Master Abdirahman Rashid from Ethiopia developed a growing cheek swelling, medical evaluation revealed a complex anterior skull-base and nasal bone defect involving structures around the nose and orbit.

At Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, Dr (Prof) Daljit Singh and Dr Sunil Choudhary worked together to plan a highly complex reconstruction. Using a 3D-printed anatomical model, the surgical team was able to understand the defect and plan the procedure precisely.

The reconstruction involved cranial bone harvested from the inner table of the skull to repair and seal the skull-base defect, along with reconstruction of the nasal and orbital regions.
