Workshop on Augmented & Alternative Communication (AAC) |
on October 5, 2026, with the theme “Empower Communication and Enable Connection.”
The workshop focused on strengthening communication support for children and adolescents with speech, language and communication challenges.
The programme brought together Dr. Lokesh Lingappa, Clinical Director & Lead Consultant Child & Adolescent Neurologist, Division of Pediatric Neurosciences, Dr. Amulya Mysore, Developmental Pediatrician, Clinical Incharge CDC, Dr. Jyoti Lal Das, Sr. Consultant Audiologist, Speech & Swallowing Therapist, Mr. Kiran Atla, Speech-Language Pathologist and Dr.
Jaya Prerna Reddy, Director & Senior Audiologist & Speech-Language Pathologist, Talk and Learn Rehabilitation Centre.
Designed for parents and therapists, the workshop covered early identification of communication difficulties, AAC myths and facts, types of AAC and their clinical application.
We also launched the Caregiver Clinic which would include Physician and Counsellor to help the caregivers of differently abled children.
