JIAR Conducts Disease-Wise Yoga Sessions Ahead of International Day of Yoga 2026

June 17: As part of the celebrations for the International Day of Yoga 2026, Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) organized a series of disease-wise yoga sessions on campus.

The programme included sessions on Yoga for Obesity and Diabetes (June 15), Yoga for Thyroid Disorders (June 16), and Yoga for Stress, Anxiety, and Sleep Disorders (June 17). The activities align with this year’s theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” highlighting the role of yoga in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
This was Conducted under the guidance of Dr.Rajeev Singh , Associate Professor and Dr.Ritu Thakur, Assistant Professor, Department of Swasthavritta Evam Yoga
