Research indicates that people with diabetes may be losing between 10 to 19 years of their life. All health and disease statistics and research indicate that diabetes is the new major health challenge of this century. Contrary what you hear, there IS a cure for diabetes. SHARAN assists you in preventing and reversing diabetes by identifying the causes of the disease and using food as medicine. They have been used and tested by doctors all over the world and are becoming a part of mainstream knowledge in other countries.

Laddoos without refined sugar or ghee? Yes, it's possible!

Ingredients
Β½ cup rajgira flour
3-4 pods green cardamom
Β½ cup grated fresh coconut
Pitted soft dark dates
10-12 almonds, chopped

Method
Dry roast the rajgira flour with the cardamom on medium heat until golden. Cool and grind coarsely (skip the grinding if using rajgira flour). Mix in the grated coconut, then knead in the dates a few at a time until the mixture comes together as a dough. Add more dates if you want it sweeter. Mix in the almonds, divide into equal portions and shape into laddoos.

The government has recently begun cracking down on false labelling and unsafe food. This is good news. Analog paneer has been banned. πŸ‘

But let's think about this a little more deeply.

Paneer, even when it is genuine, is a concentrated form of milk. And is milk itself really a safe food for us? πŸ€”

Even real paneer, when consumed in the quantities we eat today, can have adverse effects because of its high fat content and the hormones present in dairy. We are seeing a plethora of hormonal problems today. Shouldn't we be questioning the role our food plays in this?

Let's not forget that milk is produced by every mammal to nourish its young. Yet we humans continue consuming another species' milk, in concentrated forms, long after infancy.

Milk per se is not a safe food, but since its consumption is ubiquitous, it has not yet found its way into the category of unsafe foods.
