We clean every corner before Diwali. Except one.
Curtains are washed, brass is polished, every shelf is wiped clean. But the skin gets the same soap it gets all year. Ayurveda has a cleansing ritual of its own: Udvartana. Ashtanga Hridaya describes it as one of the finest practices for clear, glowing skin.
Ubtan, the traditional Snana Choornam, cleanses, gently exfoliates and nourishes in one step. As Hemant Rutu begins and the air turns dry, it cleans the skin without stripping its natural moisture.
