🌼 Happy Guru Purnima 🌼

Every stage of life has gifted me a Guru.

My first Guru was my Mother, followed by Mother Nature, my Father, my Teachers, and my Spiritual Guru. Each of them shaped my life with love, wisdom, courage, knowledge, and grace.

Today, I also express my heartfelt gratitude to the books that came into my life at the right time. When words from a teacher were not around, their silent pages became my guide and helped me grow.

A Guru is not only a person; a Guru is anything that leads us from darkness to light and from ignorance to wisdom.

With folded hands, I bow to every Guru who has been a part of my journey.

एक माँ जो सबका ख्याल रखती है, अक्सर खुद का ख्याल रखना भूल जाती है। आज की माँ सिर्फ माँ नहीं है — वह एक कामकाजी महिला है, परिवार की देखभाल करने वाली है, और अपने घर की भावनात्मक व आर्थिक ताकत भी है। उसकी मुस्कान के पीछे अनगिनत जिम्मेदारियाँ छुपी होती हैं। ऐसे में उसे सबसे ज़्यादा जरूरत होती है प्यार, सम्मान, समझ और साथ की।

आज महिलाएँ पारंपरिक भूमिकाओं से आगे बढ़कर अपनी खुद की पहचान बना रही हैं। उनके सपनों, इच्छाओं और फैसलों को बराबर सम्मान मिलना चाहिए। मातृत्व को कभी हल्के में नहीं लेना चाहिए, बल्कि उसे सम्मान देना चाहिए। एक बेटी का जन्म गर्व और खुशियों का कारण होना चाहिए, क्योंकि सशक्त महिलाएँ ही मजबूत पीढ़ियाँ और स्वस्थ समाज बनाती हैं।

माँ बनना सिर्फ एक दिन का रिश्ता नहीं, बल्कि जीवनभर निभाई जाने वाली प्रेम, त्याग, साहस और शक्ति की सबसे खूबसूरत यात्रा है। इसलिए माँ को धन्यवाद, सम्मान और प्यार सिर्फ एक दिन नहीं, बल्कि हर दिन मिलना चाहिए।

8वें पोषण पखवाड़ा 2026 (9-23 अप्रैल) की मुख्य थीम “जीवन के पहले छह वर्षों में मस्तिष्क के विकास को अधिकतम करना” (Maximizing Brain Development in the First Six Years of Life) है। यह theme बच्चों के शुरुआती वर्षों में पोषण, खेल-आधारित शिक्षा और देखभाल पर केंद्रित है, जो 1,000 दिनों के महत्व को रेखांकित करता है।

2026 पोषण पखवाड़ा के मुख्य फोकस क्षेत्र:

मस्तिष्क विकास: जीवन के शुरुआती 6 वर्षों में संज्ञानात्मक क्षमता को बढ़ाना।

मातृ एवं शिशु पोषण: माताओं और बच्चों के पोषण स्तर में सुधार।

खेल-आधारित शिक्षा: शुरुआती बचपन की देखभाल और शिक्षा (ECCE) को बढ़ावा देना।

जन आंदोलन: समुदायों को सुपोषित भारत के लिए सक्रिय करना।
