She was always there for everyone. She gave, cared and showed up, even when she was emotionally exhausted.
But when she needed someone, no one seemed to be there for her.
And underneath all that giving was a fear: “If I stop being there for everyone, will they stop needing me?”
That's when we uncovered something important.
She had confused being needed with being loved.
Sometimes, we overgive not because we have so much to give, but because we're afraid of what might happen if we stop.
But you don't have to earn your place in someone's life by constantly being available, solving their problems or putting their needs before your own.
You deserve relationships where you are valued for who you are, not just for what you do.
You can be caring without abandoning yourself. You can say no and still be worthy of love.
And remember, the people who genuinely care about you should have space for your needs, too. ❤️
Save this as a reminder: You don't have to be needed by everyone to be worthy of love.
