According to our sources, many parties are approaching JKSSB regarding the syllabus change, mainly among pharmacy graduates. Pharmacy graduates themselves are divided into different groups. Some want the syllabus to be changed, while others do not want any change because almost all aspirants have already prepared according to the existing syllabus.
The issue is not the syllabus change. The issue is that many parties are visiting the JKSSB office every day and repeatedly approaching the officers. Because of this, there is a possibility that these posts may be withdrawn.
So, please do not create problems for everyone. The administration is already doing its work. Let the administration do its job and handle the matter accordingly.

Today on 25th September 2026 Jammu Kashmir Government Pharmacists Association Jammu Province celebrated “WORLD PHARMACIST DAY” under the Presidentship of Sh.Bharat Bhushan Bhagat President JKGPA , at Press Club Jammu to pay gratitude to the father of Pharmacy Prof; Mahadeva Lal Schroff. Dr Poonam Sethi Director Health Services Jammu was the Chief Guest and Dr.Harbaksh Singh Deputy Director Health Services (HQ) Jammu was as Guest of Honour on this auspicious day.
The programme was started with Ganesh Vandana and Lamp lightening by Chief Guest Dr.Poonam Sethi Director Health Services Jammu and Guest of Honor. Dr.Harbaksh Singh Dy Director Health Services(HQ) Jammu. While addressing the participants Sh.Sushil Sudan Chairman JKMEF and Member Pharmacy Council of India throw light on the life and achievement of Prof.Mahadeva Lal Schroff who played a pivotal role in spreading Pharmacy Education in India and aboard.He also throw light on the major achievements of amendment of Pharmacy Act 1948 by the parliament which brought smile on the faces of approximately 27000 Pharmacists.who were on the lurch after the abrogation of Article 370 from J&K State.

On the :WORLD PHARMACIST DAY” the retired Pharmacists who devoted their services to the Health Department were also appreciated and presented with a certificate and Mementos. World Pharmacist Day is celebrated every year with a new Theme for overall awareness of public regarding Drugs and its utilization .This year theme on World Pharmacist Day is Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier futures.
