Diwali sweets, no regrets?🪔
Festive food is part of the joy. A few small habits can help your stomach keep up. Here are 7 to try this Diwali:
1️⃣ Don’t skip meals to “save space”. Arriving very hungry leads to overeating
2️⃣ Start with something light, like water, salad or soup
3️⃣ Choose small portions of mithai and eat slowly
4️⃣ Balance fried food with fibre: salad, vegetables, dal or fruit
5️⃣ Sip warm water, plain buttermilk or herbal tea through the day
6️⃣ Walk for 10 minutes after a heavy meal
7️⃣ Keep mithai fresh and safe. Check dates and refrigerate milk-based sweets
If stomach discomfort lasts more than a few days, or comes with severe pain, repeated vomiting or loose motions, or blood in stool, please talk to a doctor.
