🌿 Treading paths in Art and nature, Learning in Equal Social opportunities (TALES) - Erasmus+ project 🌿
The TALES Project is coming to an end đź’ś
We are delighted: all planned activities have been successfully completed. But what makes us proudest is the support we were able to offer women, with spaces for listening, sharing and rebirth.
🔵 Women's Circles in our local communities
We introduced the practice of Women's Circles in our local territories. They are much more than simple meetings: they are safe, inclusive and participatory spaces where every voice counts. Here, experiences are shared, stereotypes are challenged and self-esteem is strengthened, building relationships based on respect, listening and solidarity. Through experiential and creative activities and innovative methodologies such as art therapies, improvisational theatre and outdoor therapy, each participant could express herself, grow and feel part of a supportive community. 🌱
🔵 Arts Therapies training: Persephone and Demeter
An intense training in the has just come to an end. We explored the archetypes of Persephone and Demeter as symbolic keys to understand and transform the theme of gender-based violence. Through the languages of the arts (painting, collage, photography, dance, theatre, creative writing, poetry), the body, myth and creativity, we gave voice to experiences of loss, vulnerability, separation and rebirth. Persephone accompanied us through descent, enforced silence and inner transformation. Demeter guided us through maternal strength, protection, the search, and the capacity to generate care and change.
🎗️ Ribbon of Peace
A social media campaign brought together collective painting events with a social purpose, in which art became a language to express inclusion and the welcoming of others. Each participant added their own mark to a shared artwork, and the ribbon became a symbol of a bond that unites differences instead of erasing them.
🔵 Budapest: five days of a "positive takeover"
Experts from across Europe brought workshops and learning moments out of classrooms and into parks and symbolic places of the city. Ancient myths and urban sociology met to make education accessible to everyone and to redefine the concept of *safe space*.
🏛️ A special source of pride
We are proud that our project was hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest. Italian Cultural Institutes are outposts of Italian culture around the world: they promote language, art and dialogue between peoples. It was an honour to bring our work there. We also thank the representatives of Budapest's 8th District for their support.

✨ TALES Cards – 24 Pomegranate Seeds: Symbolic Tales for Contemporary Persephones
A collection of stories of transformation created with La CittĂ del Sole Association from Locri, Italy, by 24 women and men. Inspired by the myth of Persephone, these symbolic tales speak of challenge, descent, resilience and rebirth, and are a tool for personal growth, healing and self-reflection, in groups or individually. ✨ TARA – who supports the helper?
An AI-based reflective companion designed for counsellors, social workers, healthcare workers, coaches and youth workers. It offers a small space of listening for those in helping professions: well-being, boundaries, emotional strain, compassion fatigue. It communicates in a warm, non-judgmental way, in English, Hungarian and Italian. It is not a therapist or a crisis service. 🤝 Thank you to our network Associazione La città del sole Locri Origó Műhely
A heartfelt thank you to our partners and to everyone who helped build this European network. The collaborations born over these months have been valuable and fruitful: together we showed that networking multiplies the impact of what we do.
Erasmus+ INDIRE
The project is ending, but the path toward a more inclusive future is wide open, and the stories will keep travelling. đź’«
