🇬🇧Sunday at the Museum
Every first Sunday of the Month you can visit museums in Milano for free, including: Museo del Novecento, Sforza Castle, Modern Art Gallery, Milan Natural History Museum, Acquario Civico and others!

🇬🇧The 19th Century Museum
The 19th Century Museum holds one of the world’s most significant collections of Italian Futurism, featuring masterpieces by Umberto Boccioni and Giacomo Balla. The absolute highlight for many visitors is the stunning Lucio Fontana room on the top floor. Its massive floor-to-ceiling windows display a brilliant neon art installation while framing an unmatched, iconic view of the Milan Cathedral.

🇬🇧Sforza Castle Museums
The Sforza Castle is a grand 15th-Century fortress that serves as one of Milan’s most iconic landmarks. Today, it houses avast complex of civic museums. The absolute highlight is Michelangelo’s Rondanini Pietà, his deeply moving, final and unfinished sculpture, housed in its own dedicated museum. We can also marvel at the Sala delle Asse, featuring magnificent ceiling frescoes painted by Leonardo da Vinci.

From VysokÊ Mýto to Milan!

For two weeks in June, our Erasmus+ group from VysokÊ Mýto, Czechia, traded classrooms for workshops and gained hands-on experience in the world of mechanics and engineering.

From practical work as car mechanics to exploring the challenges of mechanical engineering, they put their skills into practice, learned new techniques, and experienced professional life in a new international environment.

And of course, there was plenty of Milan to discover along the way!

Two weeks of learning, teamwork, new experiences and unforgettable memories.🇮🇹✨

📍Parco del Portello

A green oasis carved out of Milan’s industrial past! Spiral hills, futuristic contours, and quiet water reflections make Parco del Portello one of the city's most striking modern landscapes.🌀

Designed by Charles Jencks and Andreas Kipar, this park turns urban space into a cosmic sculpture, complete with a record-breaking 208-meter bench winding along the path!

Milan’s gates are more than just beautiful landmarks; they tell the story of the city’s past.

Built as entrances through the walls that defended Milan over the centuries, these gates changed from fortified openings into monumental arches. They are usually divided into Roman, Medieval, and Spanish gates, although many were rebuilt during Napoleon’s era.

Many of their names reveal the destinations they once led to: Porta Venezia toward Venice, Porta Romana toward Rome, Porta Ticinese toward Pavia (ancient Ticinum), and Porta Garibaldi (once called Porta Comasina) toward Como.

Originally, Milan had 11 main gates; today, six remain, each linked to one of the city’s historic sestieri (districts). ✨
