Has proven experience managing a home care team.

Has experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.

Has the leadership skills to support colleagues, develop services and help our Specialist Services team grow.

Today is a gentle reminder that our mental health matters just as much as our physical health. 💚

Sometimes, the kindest thing we can do is take a moment to check in with ourselves, reach out to a friend, listen without judgement, or simply let someone know they’re not alone.

At Aurum Home Care, we’re incredibly proud of our wonderful carers and staff, who show kindness, patience and compassion every day. We know that a little understanding, a listening ear and a caring heart can make a real difference to someone who may be struggling.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a time to remember the importance of being breast aware, supporting those affected by breast cancer, and making sure nobody feels they have to face it alone.

💙 Planning for the future of care 💙

We’re all living longer, and that’s something to celebrate. However, this means more islanders may need care and support at some point in the future.

The Government of Jersey has announced proposals to strengthen the Long-Term Care Fund, helping to ensure financial support remains available for Islanders who need long-term care.

The proposals would see Long-Term Care contributions remain at 1.5% in 2027, before gradually increasing over the following years. The Government has also confirmed that these additional contributions will be ringfenced specifically for long-term care.

At Aurum Home Care, we know how important it is for individuals and families to have confidence that quality care and support will be available when it is needed — and that includes supporting people to remain living safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible. 💛
