✨ OFF TO UKAPP ✨

The studio is now closed while I head over to the annual UKAPP conference, reopening Friday 18th September.

A few days focused on education, professional development, industry updates and continuing to grow as a piercer alongside catching up with friends in the industry and of course… looking at a lot of jewellery. ✨

Continuing education is such a huge part of Ankh. The piercing industry is constantly evolving, and UKAPP gives me the chance to learn from some of the best in the industry, discover what’s new and bring that knowledge straight back to the studio.

Good placement isn’t just about what you see from the front. The angle through the ear matters too.

We’ve seen quite a few curved barbells in unhappy helix piercings recently.
We choose straight labrets to support a straight, stable piercing channel and avoid the additional movement and pressure a curved barbell can introduce in the area.
