⚠️ IMPORTANT SURGERY UPDATE – WEATHER CONDITIONS ⚠️

Due to the worsening weather conditions, the surgery will be CLOSED THIS MORNING. We are currently aiming to reopen at 12 noon today.

We will continue to monitor the weather and travel conditions throughout the morning. The planned opening time may be reviewed if conditions do not improve, and we will keep you updated should there be any changes.

📞 Urgent calls: A member of staff will be available to answer the telephone this morning for urgent queries.

Routine queries, prescription requests and non-urgent matters: Please contact us after 12 noon, when the wider team are expected to be on site.

📞 Phone Line Update

Are you having trouble getting through to us by phone?

We are aware that some patients have experienced issues when trying to call First Medical, where the call disconnects unexpectedly.

Our IT provider has confirmed that this appears to be related to a recent iPhone software update.

📱 If you are experiencing this issue, please check that your iPhone is fully updated to the latest available software. Once updated, you should be able to contact us as normal.

On Saturday, 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭, a team from First Medical will be stepping over the edge and 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 to raise funds for Dementia Jersey.

Our courageous team – Helen, Charlotte, Nicola, Jasmine, Teresa, Kim, Amy, Lorna and Tracy – are taking on this exciting challenge to support the incredible work Dementia Jersey does for people living with dementia, their families and carers across our island.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help Dementia Jersey continue providing vital support and services to our local community.
