Event Recap: St. Elizabeth gave us such a warm welcome!

Our first Farmers' Seminar was held yesterday in Santa Cruz and we couldn't be happier with the turn out.

From the valuable questions sparked from curiosity and experience to the sharing of challenges faced in the drought season, these farmers really showed how innovative and resilient they are.

We appreciate you all and we look forward to helping you grow bigger flocks and earn more!

Stay tuned to see our next stop🌿

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year’s global theme says it best: every story is unique, every journey matters.

Behind every diagnosis is a person and a family. So this month, the Baruch family is sending love to:

💗 Every survivor who fought and is still here.
💗 Every mother, daughter, son, husband, sister and friend who drove to appointments, sat in waiting rooms and held the family together.
💗 Every life we lost to breast cancer. We still say your names.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Jamaican women, and catching it early makes a real difference. The Jamaica Cancer Society advises a monthly self-exam and a yearly clinical exam from age 20, and a yearly mammogram from age 40, or earlier if it runs in your family. Men can get breast cancer too.

👇 Comment the name of someone you’re honouring this October.
🔁 Share this post. Someone on your list needs the reminder.

The New F.A.C.E. of Caribbean food has a familiar one. 💚🇯🇲

Baruch Distributors is at the 20th Caribbean Week of Agriculture, live at Ocean Coral Spring Resort, Trelawny, Jamaica, from September 27 to October 2.

This year’s theme is The New F.A.C.E. of Caribbean Food Systems:
F — Food Security
A — Agri-Business
C — Climate-Smart Technologies
E — Export Expansion

Every one of those letters starts on the farm, with healthy animals, strong flocks and farmers who have what they need. Less than a year after Hurricane Melissa, Jamaica is hosting the region, and we’re proud to be in the room with the people rebuilding Caribbean agriculture. 🌱

👇 Which letter matters most to YOUR farm: F, A, C or E? Tell us in the comments.

Nothing looked wrong. Good grass, full bellies, animals up and grazing. Then we pulled down one eyelid.

Paleness. And once you see it on one, you start checking the rest.

That’s the thing about worms — the damage is done quietly, on the inside, while the animal still looks like it’s doing fine. The pasture keeps reinfecting them every day it rains.

Do this today, it takes ten seconds per animal 👇
👁️ Pull down the lower eyelid.
🩸 Deep pink = healthy.
⚪ Pale or white = anaemia. Act now.

Then deworm properly. Fen Ben X-Worm — fenbendazole broad-spectrum drench for cattle, goats, sheep and pigs. Weigh before you dose. Rotate your actives. Respect the withdrawal period.

💬 Comment “WORM” and we’ll DM you the schedule for your animals, or WhatsApp (876) 330-9083.

📌 Save this. Someone in your farming group needs to check their herd this week.

🪱 10,000 eggs. In one day. ONE worm.

That is not a scare figure — that’s the barber’s pole worm doing what it does inside a goat that still looks fine from the road. Every one of those eggs lands on the pasture your animals graze tomorrow.

Here’s what farmers miss: by the time you SEE the problem, you’ve already paid for it.

Three signs your stock is carrying a heavy load 👇
1️⃣ Losing weight on good feed
2️⃣ Rough, staring coat
3️⃣ Pale gums and pale inner eyelid

Two out of three? You’re overdue.

Fen Ben X-Worm is a fenbendazole broad-spectrum drench — roundworms, lungworms and tapeworms, in cattle, goats, sheep and pigs. Oral, simple, and gentle enough for routine worming when you dose to accurate bodyweight.

📌 Save this so you can check your herd this week.

👨🏾‍🌾 Tag a farmer who hasn’t dewormed since last year.
💬 WhatsApp (876) 330-9083 and we’ll size it for your animals.

Always dose by weight and follow the label’s withdrawal period before slaughter or milk sale.

The mistake that costs farmers most: guessing the weight. Under-dosing is how resistance is born. Weigh or weigh-tape, dose to the heaviest in the group, and rotate your actives next round.

This week we'll share more about how to build your deworming game plan.
