Are you a young woman with a disability living in Kajiado Town?

Riziki Source and partners are hosting a 2-day screening exercise to connect eligible young women with disabilities to growth opportunities under the Unlocking Opportunities Project.

📅 Dates: 7th & 8th September 2026

📍 Venue: Nasena Guest House (Opposite Bata), Kajiado Town

⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements:

Young women with disabilities aged 18–40 years

Mandatory: Please carry your NCPWD Certificate

Note: If you have already been screened by any of our project partners, please do not attend this session.

Today, the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD), in partnership with Let’s Support Persons with Disability CBO, joined partners and local stakeholders in Kajiado County for a sensitization workshop focused on unpacking the Persons with Disabilities Act 2025 and strengthening Disability Mainstreaming across sectors.
The session brought together county officials, civil society organizations, community leaders, and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) to move from policy to practice and ensure that persons with disabilities are fully included in development.
We sincerely appreciate the leadership of Kajiado County, NCPWD, and all participating partners for their commitment to building a barrier-free and inclusive society.
Together, we are moving from policy to practice, ensuring that the promises of the Persons with Disabilities Act 2025 deliver lasting impact at the grassroots level.

We are appealing to well-wishers, friends, organizations, and people with a heart to support Miriam Moinan, a person with a hearing impairment.

Miriam has trained in Beauty Therapy and is currently facing challenges in finding employment. She is looking for a job opportunity in a salon or any other place where she can use her skills, become self-reliant, and support her family.

Miriam also has a 4-year-old child who needs support with education and school requirements.

As Let’s Support Persons with Disability CBO (LSPWD), we are appealing to well-wishers and organizations to support Miriam by helping her secure a job opportunity and by supporting her child’s education and school needs.

Any support—whether a job opportunity, school fees, uniform, learning materials, or other basic school needs—will make a meaningful difference.

Let us come together to empower Miriam to become self-reliant and give her child an opportunity to access education. ❤️
