Celebrating the Heartbeat of Emergency Care

Prime Care Trainers (PCT) was honored to participate in the 2nd Trauma & Emergency Nursing Scientific Conference held at Sun N’ Sand Beach Resort, Mtwapa. The event brought together emergency nurses and healthcare leaders from across Kenya to celebrate and advance the profession.

Our Training Director, Steve Khamisi, delivered the keynote address on “Celebrating the Role of the Emergency Nurse” — a heartfelt tribute to the courage, compassion, and leadership of nurses who serve at the frontline of care.

Beyond the keynote, PCT also facilitated a practical Interpretation & workshop, equipping participants with critical lifesaving skills to strengthen emergency response capacity in their institutions.

We also shared insights from our community outreach initiative, , which offers free basic first aid training to schools and community groups.

Together, we continue to empower those who save lives. 💙

World Heart Day – 29th September ❤️🌍

Today, we are reminded of the most precious rhythm that keeps us alive – the heartbeat. Every single beat is a gift, a reminder that life is fragile yet powerful.

This year’s theme, *“Don’t Miss a Beat”*, challenges us to care for our hearts with urgency and intention. Heart disease and stroke remain the world’s leading killers, yet so much can be prevented through awareness, lifestyle choices, and timely emergency response.

At Prime Care Trainers, we believe every life saved starts with a prepared system and empowered individuals. From learning CPR to understanding heart health, each of us can make a difference.

💡 Today, take a step towards better heart health:
✅ Eat smart
✅ Stay active
✅ Manage stress
✅ Learn basic life support

Let’s honor our hearts and those around us. Because when it comes to life – every beat counts, and none should be missed. ❤️💪

On behalf of the entire organising team at Prime Care Trainers, asanteni sana for standing with us. May God richly bless you for your friendship and support. ❤️

We shall be publishing a summary report/article via our Friends-of-PCT Blog Page in due course. 📝✨

To our Chief Guest, Dr. Janet Sugut,

Asante sana for gracing the occasion and remaining with us throughout the event. Your words of encouragement and the challenge you posed to both emergency care instructors and providers truly inspired us.

We deeply appreciate your work and continued contribution in the Emergency Medicine space towards “Bridging the Chain of Survival.”

We look forward to continue partnering together under the umbrella.🙏🏽
