OFFICIAL STATEMENT BY GENTS WITH BRAINS MANAGEMENT:

16 September 2026

*RE: Condemnation of the Ongoing Sexual Assault, Murder and Disappearance of Women in RSA and Lesotho*

Gents With Brains stands to make it clear:

*We do not advocate for, we do not support, and we will never stay silent about the ongoing brutalization of women.*

What is happening right now in the Republic of South Africa - where women are being sexually assaulted and killed daily - and here at home in Lesotho where our sisters are disappearing, is not "a women's issue." It is a crisis of manhood. It is a failure of men to protect.

As an entity built on the principle of responsible, thinking, and disciplined manhood, we condemn in the strongest terms:

1. Every act of r**e, sexual assault, and femicide.

2. Every man who commits, enables, or justifies such acts.

3. The culture of silence among men who see and say nothing.

Real strength does not r**e. Real power does not kill women. Real brains do not abuse.

We cannot call ourselves "Gents" while our sisters live in fear of gents.

*Therefore, Gents With Brains commits to:*

1. Educate

We will continue to hold men accountable through dialogue on consent, respect, and emotional discipline.

2. Protect

We will not shield perpetrators. We will report and call out.

3. Support

We stand with the families of the missing and murdered, and with survivors.

4. Collaborate

We call on all men's formations, law enforcement, and community leaders in both RSA and Lesotho to act decisively.

To the women of Lesotho and South Africa: Your lives matter. Your safety matters. You deserve to walk free without fear.

To the men: Silence is complicity. If you are a man with a brain, it's time to act like it.

Enough is enough.

It is with heavy hearts that we gather as Gents With Brains to remember and honor our dear brother, Mr. Bokang 'Matekoane' Semuli, who has recently passed away. Words cannot express the profound sense of loss we feel as we reflect on the life of a remarkable individual who touched the lives of so many.

Mr. Matekoane exemplified the true spirit of entrepreneurship. His unwavering dedication to hard work, innovation, and community upliftment was an inspiration to us all. As a role model, he not only demonstrated what it means to strive for success but also embodied the values of integrity and resilience.

In his journey, he taught us the importance of mental strength and emotional well-being. He believed in the power of supporting one another, whether through professional endeavors or personal battles. His contributions, both in his personal life and through his work, have left an indelible mark, enriching the lives of countless men who looked up to him.

As we navigate this difficult time, let us remember Mr. Matekoane not just for the achievements he accomplished, but for the kindness he extended to those around him. May we honor his legacy by continuing to uplift each other and by embracing the values he cherished.
