Nouvelle Nomad

Marrakech | Melbourne | London
Est. 2016 Based between Melbourne, Australia and Marrakech, Morocco, Nouvelle Nomad was created by founder Bridget John to share the joys of travel, while collecting beautiful vintage and handmade treasures along the way. Since 2016 Bridget has been partnering with local family businesses, specialist carpet traders and artisan makers here in Morocco to source this unique collection from the traditional handcraft regions, the mountains, the deserts, the carpet auctions, and the souks. Specialising in authentic vintage, the unique and hard to find, the Nouvelle Nomad collection celebrates the beautiful textiles that already exist in this world rather than producing more. Selecting each piece for it's quality, authenticity, and design with the modern Australian home and Melbourne's style in mind. The range also includes traditional pottery and artisan made ceramics for your home, and small batch leather accessories for your travels. All slowly, mindfully and sustainably handmade here in Morocco. A selection of Nouvelle Nomad rugs are available to view in store at the Mark Tuckey Melbourne showroom.
