Bonġu, ha nkun qieghed naghmel serja ta' posters edukattivi meta jkolli ftit hin! Wahda mil-affarijiet li nixtieq ninforma hija fuq kif tipprepara qabel ma tmur ghand it-tabib. Huwa importanti li tkun preparat u strutturat fuq x'tixtieq taqsam mat-tabib. Din taghmel il-konsulta ferm strutturata u iktar facli ghat-tabib biex jifhem minn xiex int ghaddej/a.
Importanti ukoll li kull konsulta tkun iffukata fuq problema wahda u mhux lista ta affarijiet twila li tispicca tiehu hin twil u dak li jkun ma jkun jaf min xiex ha jaqbad jibda.
Dejjem gib il-lista tal-medicini li tiehu.
Punt iehor huwa li tajjeb li tfittxu online fuq is-sintomi pero hafna mis-sintomi li jinkitbu online jistaw jigu interpretati b'moghod hazin li j'allarma dak li jkun.
Fl-ahhar mil-ahhar il-konsulta ghandha tkun diskussjoni onesta u bla kantunieri bejn il-pazjent u t-tabib bil-ghan li titjieb is-sahha ta dak li jkun.
Grazzi u l-weekend it-tajjeb
Good morning! I’ll be making a series of educational posters whenever I have some spare time!
One of the things I would like to raise awareness about is how to prepare before visiting your doctor. It is important to be prepared and organised about what you want to discuss with your doctor. This helps make the consultation more structured and makes it easier for the doctor to understand what you are going through.
It is also important to focus each consultation on one main problem, rather than bringing a long list of different concerns that may take a considerable amount of time to address and make it difficult to know where to start.
Always bring a list of the medications you are taking.
Another important point is that it is perfectly fine to look up your symptoms online. However, many of the symptoms and conditions described online can easily be misinterpreted, potentially causing unnecessary worry and anxiety.
Ultimately, a consultation should be an open, honest and transparent discussion between the patient and the doctor, with the shared goal of improving the patient's health and well-being.
Thank you, and have a lovely weekend!
