THE ART OF NOTICING.

Not all messages arrive wrapped in mystery.
Some lie in the dirt.

This morning, a torn scrap of paper lay tucked between the pavement and the grass. Weathered, discarded, insignificant to most.
Yet something caught my eye.

33

A number. A coincidence. A whisper.

In numerology, 33 is regarded as a Master Number, associated with wisdom, compassion, and the transformation of experience into understanding.

But perhaps the greater curiosity isn't the number itself.
Perhaps it's the strange choreography of ordinary things.

The precise moment we look down.
The fragment that catches our attention.
The instinct to stop when everything around us keeps moving.

We spend so much time searching for the extraordinary that we forget how often it hides within the mundane.

Not everything is a sign. But almost anything can become a symbol.

And sometimes, that distinction is where the magic lives.

Standing on your doorstep is someone strangely familiar.

It's you.

Not the person you are today, but a version of yourself you've long since left behind.
They know your secrets. Your regrets. The things you've never spoken aloud.

And in their hands rests a small wooden box bearing your name.

"I've brought back something you buried," they whisper.

You recognise the box.
You remember burying it.
But you cannot remember what's inside.

The visitor extends it towards you.

"You can have it back. But if you open it, you must acknowledge why you buried it in the first place."

So tell me, wanderer...

RELEASE

Not everything is meant to be carried until it becomes light.

Some things do not need another explanation.
Another chance.
Another conversation.
Another night spent turning them over in your hands, searching for the piece you somehow missed.

Sometimes healing is not understanding.
Sometimes healing is deciding:
This has taken enough from me.

Release does not mean it never mattered.
It does not erase the love, the grief, the anger, the hope, or the version of you that once believed differently.

It simply means you stop feeding what has already finished feeding upon you.

Write it down.
Speak it aloud.
Cry it out.
Burn the damn thing.

Not because fire makes it disappear -
but because there comes a moment when something must stop living inside you and be returned to the world in another form.

Ash.
Smoke.
Memory.
Lesson.

Whatever remains, remains.
But you do not have to keep carrying the whole co**se just because you once loved what was alive.

Some things are honoured by keeping them.
Others are honoured by finally putting them down.
And when you are ready,
release.

Welcome, October. 🍂
