🦶 Simple exercise to improve ankle control & foot stability: Tibialis Raises.
Tibialis raises strengthen the tibialis anterior, the muscle at the front of the shin responsible for lifting the foot upward during walking.
✅ Helps improve ankle dorsiflexion
✅ Supports better foot and ankle control
✅ May help with certain overuse-related shin symptoms
✅ Useful for strengthening and injury-prevention programmes
Try 3 sets of 12–20 repetitions, 2–4 times per week, keeping the movement slow and controlled.
⚠️ Foot pain has many different causes, so one exercise will not suit every condition. Persistent or worsening pain should be properly assessed.
