When my petition in 2022 reached 167,690 signatures instead of debating the issue conservative MPs instead attacked me personally and also proceeded to call abortion a "cult of death" (thank you Rees Mogg you massive hypocrite, thats now on a flag and a tshirt) and it didnt go further at the time. I was so glad when Gemma Clarks petition was successful in the second attempt to decriminalise it. This is a MOMEMENTAL day

The Crime and Policing Bill has just gained Royal Assent and is now law. That means that women are now decriminalised from criminal law on abortion. It has been the privilege of my life to pick up the baton from my incredible friend Diana Johnson MP and lead this change - the biggest change to abort...

Throw back photo to November 2022 where I was invited to parliament to watch my debate on the decriminalisation of abortion. The conversation government refused to consider it and decided to bash women and de credit me instead. Now under a labour government Gemma Clark got the petition back into parliament and it has now passed the commons, and it just passed the Lords!!! This is a MOMEMENTAL and HISTORIC MOMENT FOR WOMENS RIGHTS IN THE UK!

Many of you may remember when I wrote a petiton that got 170k signatures to decriminalise abortion and we got i to parliament, but with Conservatives in power I was called a liar and naive and told I was fear mongering women....instead of the actual issue being focused upon

Recently we've seen the reform party start trying to attack abortion access in the UK. But today after the biggest change in 60 years to abortion law in the UK, WOMEN WILL NO LONGER FACE PROSECUTION!

Especially in the global rise of far right ideals I could not be more pleased.
