Limited pupil dilation can restrict visualization during retinal laser treatment and may complicate accurate targeting. Technical approaches that support enhanced visualization and navigation under challenging anatomical conditions may be considered to enable targeted, navigated laser application when pupil size remains limited despite pharmacological dilation. The application depends on the clinical context and the physician’s clinical judgement.
